Virat Kohli is one of the great and dareful player of India as well as of the world. He was born in the year of 1988. He is a formidable top-order batsman for India. Because of his great style and appearance, he is a very famous and attractive personality in the world of cricket. Because of his great skills, he was the captain of the victorious Indian team at the 2008 U19 WC held in Malaysia.

Today he is a dependable batsman on the Indian cricket team. He is a prominent figure in his team due to the skills of his bat in hand. It is just because of his skills that in 2012 and 2014 he received the” player of the year” award by ICC. He was an important figure in the triumph of India’s world cup 2011, his centuries played an important role in the victory of India in that world cup. He was rated by SportsPro as the 13th most marketable athlete in the world.

Along with his great skills of bating he is also an aggressive and active fielder of his team. At the age of 33 years, his achievements are great and prominent. In One Day International (ODI) cricket, Kohli holds multiple records including the record for the fastest century by an Indian batsman and the fastest to 17 hundred in ODI by any batsman. He is the first batsman to make five successive scores of 50 or more in ODIs on two different occasions.

Kohli’s physical appearance is very attractive and stylish because of which he always remains in the headlines of media. He has four tattoos inked on his body from which his favorite is the tattoo of a Japanese Samurai warrior with a raised sword which is a symbol of confidence and brevity. He is one of those personalities who are most followed by people on social media. Kohli has one elder brother and one elder sister. His father, Prem, worked as a criminal lawyer and died in December 2006. Kohli is in a current relationship with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, due to which he always remains in the headlines of the media. Kohli has always considered Sachin Tendulkar his inspiration.
Virat Kohli’s favorite adventure sport is Rafting. His favorite food is Sushi. Tennis and soccer are his favorite games apart from cricket,  Roger Federer is his favorite tennis player and he also loves watching Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. From Bollywood actors, he likes Amir Khan, and from Hollywood, he is a fan of the Rocky films, and Rocky 4 is his favorite.

Early Career

In 1998, at the age of nine-year, he joined a cricket academy, with this thought that he should not waste his time in gully cricket. He played first for Dehli under 15 teams, he always remained a remarkable figure in that team and became the captain of that team for the 2003–04 Polly Umrigar Trophy. In 2004 he was selected in under 17 teams. Because of his great achievement there, he became a more and more prominent figure in India’s cricket. In July 2006 he was selected in the under-19 team for its tour to England. He played there with a great average of 105 in three matches against England’s under-19 team.

In September, the India Under-19 team toured Pakistan. Kohli played with an average of 58 in the Test series and 41.66 in the ODI series against the Pakistan Under-19 team. At the age of 18, he made his first-class debut for Delhi in 2006.
In April 2007, he made his Twenty20 debut and finished as the highest run-getter for his team in the Inter-State T20 Championship with 179 runs. During the tour of Sri Lanka, he was the second-highest run-getter in his team with 145 from five matches. In 2008 he became captain of the under-19 team, where he proved his remarkable skills and abilities to lead in him. Because of his great performance, he was bought by the Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs. 20 lakhs on a youth contract. In July 2008, he was included in India’s 30-man probable squad for the ICC Champions Trophy which was to be held in Pakistan in September 2008.
